Report Hazards
Working safely doesn’t just mean looking out for yourself. It also means looking out for your co-workers. When each person demonstrates team safety awareness, the workplace is safer for all of us.
Be on the lookout for hazards and report them to your supervisor. Make sure your fellow workers are also informed of hazards.
The lack of personal protective equipment can be a hazard on the job as well. Does everyone on your team use the proper gear for the job? Failure to do so could impact your own safety as well as the safety of others.
Communicate with your co-workers. Tell them about a potential hazard; don’t ignore it. Remind everyone to work safely because each person’s work habits affect your safety. Team safety awareness helps protect everyone.
