Adopt the buddy system for safety

The buddy system is crucial for some tasks, such as confined space entry. But there are many other jobs where having a colleague by your side can save your life. Remember, you’re not likely to notice your own symptoms, so it’s important to have someone else monitor you on a regular basis.

• Have an emergency plan in case it’s needed.
• Be consistent when conducting interval checks.
