Ergonomics Is Fitting
Is your back too sore to swing a golf club after a day at work? Is your arm too sore to pitch a baseball? What about your neck? Is it too sore to read in bed? Poor ergonomics is one of the more common reasons why many workers suffer aches and pains outside of work.
Ergonomics is fitting the job to the worker; not making the worker fit the job. That means that wherever you work, your job should fit you. Not having an ergonomic workstation can cause all kinds of work-related injuries. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, a sore back, and a sore neck: all of these ailments are common symptoms of a poorly designed workstation.
